Social Content is Important!

Social Content is an important aspect of online strategy these days. It is useful for engaging with potential customers and existing customers. Customers need to nurtured before, during, and after the buying process.
Here are 6 helpful tips to help your brand increase the quality of its social content.

1. Tell a story.

Consumers want to know what makes your brand different. They want to know how you started and what ideals you support. Most consumers research a brand before purchasing. Having content that is relevant and focuses on the story will help consumers feel more comfortable with your brand. This increased comfort level will help your brand stay top-of-mind when the consumer is ready to make a purchase decision.

2. High quality video/photo.

Everyone has seen the low quality pictures and videos on social media. Low quality creative makes people scroll past posts and lowers opinions of brands. It is better to have no creative, than to have creative that does not put your brand in a good light. Venture Creations shoots photo/video for clients that is socially optimized. Check out our Youtube page for some examples of what we have worked on.

3. Don’t always sell.

There is nothing more irritating than a social page where every post is a hard sell for a product. Consumers tire of those types of posts if that is the only content that you are posting. It is important to mix post types up, so that content stays interesting and engaging.

4. Post for engagement.

Posts that generate more engagement, are served to more people. Facebook rewards and prioritizes pages that engage regularly with their followers. So it is important for individual business pages to test content, to see what is most interesting to followers. And optimize for the most engaging content.

5. Be consistent.

Posting regularly is important for a couple of reasons. Its helps keep your brand top-of-mind among followers. Facebook also rewards pages that post regularly, which means an increased organic reach.

6. Answer the questions.

Posts that get comments and questions cannot be left alone. If a follower takes the time to comment, make sure that you take the time to answer. Unanswered comments make a page look bad and really irritates the people who commented. Show your followers that you care by having meaningful conversations with them. If you don’t have time to do this, hire Venture Creations to manage the engagement on your page. We are glad to help!
